Coges was established in 1977, as a company dedicated exclusively to the construction of coin mechanisms. Subsequently, changed market prospects led the company to expand its product range, so that it now offers a wide range of solutions in the field of payment systems for automatic vending machines.
In 1999 Coges obtained UNI EN ISO 9001 certification for its own quality system.

The inauguration, in 2001, of a new head office - situated in the heart of one of the most industrialised areas in Europe - and the strengthening of the sales and service network have generated the ideal prospect of further, steady development, as well as consolidation of the market share already achieved.

In 2006 Coges achieves a new goal: the certification of its safety system according to the voluntary OHSAS 18001 standard.

In 2007, thanks to the certification for the environment system according to the UNI EN ISO 14001 standard, the mission of creating an integrated quality-safety-environment management system is accomplished.
